In Ring: Seth praises the crowd for their reactions. He says the last month has been wild. He takes everyone back to Wrestlemania where he wins the Intercontinental Championship. Then they go to South Africa where he defends the title. They come back to St. Louis and then go to Saudi Arabia where he defended the title in a ladder match. Seth says merci to the people of Montreal. Seth says the crowd makes it all worthwhile. He says the trip back from Saudi Arabia was long and it allowed him to think about what kind of champion he wants to be. He does not want to be anything like Brock Lesnar. Brock isn’t even the legitimate Universal Champion because we saw Roman’s feet hit first. Seth says he does not want to show up only when it is convenient or when the price is right. He wants to be a fighting champion . . .
Finn Balor’s music plays and interrupts Seth. Finn introduces himself in French. He tells Seth he was right. It was a long flight from Saudi Arabia and it gave him time to watch the end of the ladder match and see how close he came to being Intercontinental champion. Finn says that Seth beat him, but by this much. They have had four singles matches and each of them have won two. That makes them even. You talk about being a fighting champion so why not show you are a fighting champion by putting that title on the line tonight? Seth says he has the Miz at Backlash on Sunday, but . . . Finn says he likes that but. Seth says since he is a fighting champion, he will leave it up to the people of Montreal. Seth says he is on and then . . .
Miz’ music plays and Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas make their way to the stage. Curtis says not to worry about what these people want. Worry about what is best for yourselves. You guys shouldn’t be fighting each other, you should be fighting together. Bo says we should all be fighting together. Curtis says they made a mistake by coming at them separately. They should have had a group conversation and then Bo and Curtis reveal shirts with all four of their photos on it. Bo says forget about the Balor Club and forget about the Shield. Bo says they have the Four Horsemen of the WWE. Bo and Curtis put up the four fingers. Seth and Finn have a conversation away from Bo and Curtis. Seth says it is a hard no. Bo tells Curtis to keep his chin up. Bo says they don’t need them. Bo and Curtis turn away and then try to attack Finn and Seth but Seth with a super kick to Bo and Finn with a Slingblade to Curtis. Rollins clotheslines Axel over the top rope to the floor.

Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match – Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe vs. The Miz
Miz and Balor battled, while Joe and Rollins faced off. Balor dropkicked Miz down and took the fight to Joe with a chop. Joe nailed a step up enziguiri in the corner on Balor. Rollins came off the ropes with a double blockbuster on Joe and Miz. Rollins and Balor fought. Rollins sent him to the floor and nailed a tope to the floor, then hit the ring and hit one on the opposite side of the ring on Miz. Seth went to grab a ladder. Joe tried to take it. Miz joined in and he and Rollins drilled it into Joe on the floor, smashing him into the ring apron. Balor hit a flip dive to the outside on everyone. Joe recovered and brought the ladder into play. He went to set it up in the ring but Rollins cut him off and nailed several chops. He rebounded off the ropes but was nailed by Joe. Joe caught Balor returning to the ring and struck him with a hard chop. Balor used a double leg takedown to snap Joe back onto a ladder, then hit a double stomp. They allowed Balor to set up the ladder and begin to ascend, but Miz pulled him down and nailed a big kick.
Miz began climinbing up but Rollins stopped him. Miz tried to grab him for the Skull Crushing Finale, but was shoved into the ladder face-first. Rollins set up the ladder but Balor and Rollins kept thwarting the others’ attempts to make it to the top. They battled on the ladder but Miz and Joe tipped it over, sending them crashing. Miz was all happy until he realized he was going to have to battle Joe. He attempted to create an alliance between the two. Joe shook his hand, then attacked him. Joe slammed Balor atop a ladder. He placed the ladder against the buckles and hiptossed Seth into it. Miz got the same treatment. Balor caught Joe with Slingblade and sent him into the corner. The ladder crashed down atop of Joe. Balor ascended to the heavens, looking to double stomp Joe to hell. Rollins caught him and went for a powerbomb but Miz got involved. Joe nailed Miz with the ladder and slipped underneath for a Tower of Doom, powerbombing Rollins as he superplexed Balor. Continue Reading
Backstage: Seth Rollins is in the locker room and he is reading something on his phone. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel arrive and they say they said goodbye to the MIz and hello to their futures. They show Monday Night Rollins shirts. Curtis says they can take over this place. Bo says they can be the new Shield. Bo and Curtis throw out their fists but Seth says no.
Finn Balor and Seth Rollins versus Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas
Finn and Bo start things off. They lock up and Bo with a side head lock. Bo with a shoulder tackle and he celebrates. Bo and Curtis tag by doing a Shield fist bump. They lock up and Axel with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Curtis and Bo Too Sweet but not each other. They lock up and Balor with a waist lock. Axel with an elbow. Axel with a sunset flip but Balor rolls through and drop kicks Axel. Axel punches Balor and chokes him in the ropes. Bo tags in and he hits a knee drop for a near fall.
Bo with a series of knees and a reverse chin lock. Bo with a punch but Balor with a Pele Kick and both men are down. Rollins and Axel tag in and Rollins with a springboard clothesline followed by Slingblade. Rollins sends Axel into Dallas and then clotheslines Axel over the top rope to the floor. Rollins with a suicide dive onto Axel. Rollins with a blockbuster. Axel with a kick and Rollins avoids the Son of Perfectplex. Rollins with Black Out and Balor tags in for Coup de Grace for the three count.
