WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Seth Rollins versus The Miz
They lock up and Rollins with a side head lock into a hammer lock. Miz tries for a reversal but Rollins takes Miz to the mat. Miz goes for a reversal but Rollins keeps control and Miz gets to the ropes to force Rollins to release the hold. Miz with a kick and punch followed by kicks. Rollins with a drop kick and chops to Miz. Rollins with an Irish whip and Rollins with a running forearm into the corner. Rollins with an Irish whip but he is sent to the apron and he punches Miz. Rollins is sent to the floor by Miz. Miz sends Rollins into the announce table. Miz runs Rollins into the apron and they return to the ring. Miz with a running boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Rollins gets to his feet and he punches and chops Miz. Miz with a knee to the midsection. Miz with knees to the back and an elbow to the collarbone. Miz with a reverse chin lock. Miz with a knee. Rollins with a rollup for a near fall. Miz avoids a thrust kick and then kicks Rollins and hits a DDT for a near fall. Miz kicks Rollins. Miz with a punch and he chokes Rollins in the ropes. Miz with a splash to the back. Rollins with punches and chops. Rollins with an X Factor followed by a flatline into the turnbuckles.

Rollins with a boot and he leaps over Miz and hits Slingblade and clotheslines Miz over the top rope to the floor. Rollins with a suicide dive onto Miz. Rollins rolls Miz back into the ring and he goes for a springboard move but Miz blocks it and goes for the Skull Crushing Finale but Rollins escapes. Rollins with a blockbuster for a near fall. Miz gets to the ropes and elbows Rollins. Miz with a take down and he tries for the figure four but Rollins kicks him away. Rollins with a forearm from the arpon and he hits a springboard clothesline. Rollins is sent to the apron and Miz goes to the floor and pulls Rollins face first onto the apron. Miz sends Rollins back into the ring and he goes up top for a cross body but Rollins rolls through and hits a uranage side slam for a near fall. Rollins goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Rollins looks around and he sets for a super kick but Miz rolls to the floor. Rollins follows after Miz and they return to the ring and Miz misses a clothesline. Rollins clotheslines Miz over the top rope to the floor. Miz with a punch to stop a suicide dive from Rollins. Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match – Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe vs. The Miz
Miz and Balor battled, while Joe and Rollins faced off. Balor dropkicked Miz down and took the fight to Joe with a chop. Joe nailed a step up enziguiri in the corner on Balor. Rollins came off the ropes with a double blockbuster on Joe and Miz. Rollins and Balor fought. Rollins sent him to the floor and nailed a tope to the floor, then hit the ring and hit one on the opposite side of the ring on Miz. Seth went to grab a ladder. Joe tried to take it. Miz joined in and he and Rollins drilled it into Joe on the floor, smashing him into the ring apron. Balor hit a flip dive to the outside on everyone. Joe recovered and brought the ladder into play. He went to set it up in the ring but Rollins cut him off and nailed several chops. He rebounded off the ropes but was nailed by Joe. Joe caught Balor returning to the ring and struck him with a hard chop. Balor used a double leg takedown to snap Joe back onto a ladder, then hit a double stomp. They allowed Balor to set up the ladder and begin to ascend, but Miz pulled him down and nailed a big kick.

Miz began climinbing up but Rollins stopped him. Miz tried to grab him for the Skull Crushing Finale, but was shoved into the ladder face-first. Rollins set up the ladder but Balor and Rollins kept thwarting the others’ attempts to make it to the top. They battled on the ladder but Miz and Joe tipped it over, sending them crashing. Miz was all happy until he realized he was going to have to battle Joe. He attempted to create an alliance between the two. Joe shook his hand, then attacked him. Joe slammed Balor atop a ladder. He placed the ladder against the buckles and hiptossed Seth into it. Miz got the same treatment. Balor caught Joe with Slingblade and sent him into the corner. The ladder crashed down atop of Joe. Balor ascended to the heavens, looking to double stomp Joe to hell. Rollins caught him and went for a powerbomb but Miz got involved. Joe nailed Miz with the ladder and slipped underneath for a Tower of Doom, powerbombing Rollins as he superplexed Balor. Continue Reading

Intercontinental Title Match: The Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
Miz sends the Miztourage to the back, and Balor is ushered to the ring by a slew of Balor Club members. Fast start, as they trade armdrags and rollups on one another before Rollins clotheslines Miz to the floor. Balor clotheslines Seth out, and then takes both men out with a dive. Balor is looking RIPPED tonight. Balor tosses Miz back into the ring and counters a sunset flip with a dropkick for 2. Seth in with a springboard clothesline on Balor, but Miz rams him into the corner and hits a running kick on Balor for 2. We see John Cena watching the show from the crowd as Rollins hits a double blockbuster and covers Miz for 2. Miz hits a corner clothesline on Balor, then goes to the top and hits a double axhandle on Rollins for 2. Miz hits a neckbreaker on Balor for 2, then gets him in a Million Dollar Dream. Rollins breaks that up and tosses Miz to the floor, hits a slingblade on Balor, then takes Miz out with a dive.

Balor hits Rollins with a slingblade of his own, Seth superkicks Balor, Miz hits a DDT on Rollins for 2. Miz goes for a figure four on Rollins, Rollins kicks him off and goes for a springboard something, but Miz superkicks him off the top rope and to the floor. Miz blocks a leaping enziguiri and hits a legwhip over the top rope on Balor, then gets him in a figure four right in the middle of the ring. Rollins off the top with a frogsplash on Miz for 2, breaking up the figure four. Balor tries the apron punt on Rollins, Rollins blocks and goes for a buckle bomb into the barricade, but Balor gets out and rams Rollins into the Miz against the barricade. Balor and Rollins are back inside trading strikes, Balor hits the overhead kick, and hits the Curtain Call for 2. Balor goes to the top for the double stomp, but Miz knocks him down and goes for a superplex.

Balor blocks and Rollins grabs Miz and buckle bombs him, then runs back up the corner and hits the superplex on Balor, but Balor counters the second one to a small package for 2. Miz quickly hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Rollins, but Rollins kicks out at 2. Balor counters a Skull Crushing Finale attempt to a rollup for 2, then hits a leaping enziguiri and goes up again for the double stomp. Miz shakes the rope and knocks Balor down on the top turnbuckle, Balor blocks a superplex, Rollins hits them both with a leaping enziguiri, and tries a springboard something into the ring, but Miz counters to a super Skull Crushing Finale. Balor breaks the pinfall at 2 with a top rope double stomp, then hits Miz with a slingblade, shotgun dropkick, and comes off the top with the double stomp, but Rollins comes right in and curb stomps Balor. Rollins curb stomps Miz and covers, and we have a new Intercontinental Champion!

Backstage:
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were interviewed. Rollins said they were feeling good. Dean said he’s not in a good mood at all. Dean said he doesn’t know what Angle’s plans and motivations are but he’s not jumping into the kiddie end of the pool. It’s war. Rollins said he never thought he’d be competing with Angle. Dean admitted it was cool but said they were coming to burn everything down like Kamikaze pilots. They turned down the chance to give away their strategy but promised they had something up their sleeves. Ambrose said it was a four stage plan – tables, ladder, chairs, war.

Backstage: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came to Kurt Angle backstage. He said they wanted to do this 2 on 5, but he couldn’t allow that. He said he didn’t know how much he had left in the ring because it was the first time in 11 years but he would give them all that he has. They cut him off. They said they didn’t come to talk about why he is doing this, but to give him this – and handed him a Shield vest. Angle was all about that.

Kurt Angle & Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman & The Miz & Cesaro & Sheamus & Kane in a handicap TLC Match
Everyone began brawling. Team Angle began drilling everyone with chairs to drive them from the ring. Kane was left along and everyone beat him three on one with the chairs. It’s been all sorts of brawling with Team Angle in charge. They placed Braun and Kane on announce tables outside the ring and set up ladders. Rollins and Ambrose came off the ladders with splash through the tables with the idea being they were trying to take out the biggest monsters on the team. Rollins grabbed at his knee right away and Ambrose was taken out from the force of doing the move, leaving Angle trapped in a three on one situation against Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro. They drove a ladder into the ribs of Angle. They mocked the Shield and teased doing the triple powerbomb but Ambrose and Rollins hit the ring for the save. Cesaro smashed Rollins with a piece of the announce table. Continue Reading
