WWE TLC Kick-Off
Backstage: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were interviewed. Rollins said they were feeling good. Dean said he’s not in a good mood at all. Dean said he doesn’t know what Angle’s plans and motivations are but he’s not jumping into the kiddie end of the pool. It’s war. Rollins said he never thought he’d be competing with Angle. Dean admitted it was cool but said they were coming to burn everything down like Kamikaze pilots. They turned down the chance to give away their strategy but promised they had something up their sleeves. Ambrose said it was a four stage plan – tables, ladder, chairs, war.
Backstage: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came to Kurt Angle backstage. He said they wanted to do this 2 on 5, but he couldn’t allow that. He said he didn’t know how much he had left in the ring because it was the first time in 11 years but he would give them all that he has. They cut him off. They said they didn’t come to talk about why he is doing this, but to give him this – and handed him a Shield vest. Angle was all about that.
Kurt Angle & Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman & The Miz & Cesaro & Sheamus & Kane in a handicap TLC Match
Everyone began brawling. Team Angle began drilling everyone with chairs to drive them from the ring. Kane was left along and everyone beat him three on one with the chairs. It’s been all sorts of brawling with Team Angle in charge. They placed Braun and Kane on announce tables outside the ring and set up ladders. Rollins and Ambrose came off the ladders with splash through the tables with the idea being they were trying to take out the biggest monsters on the team. Rollins grabbed at his knee right away and Ambrose was taken out from the force of doing the move, leaving Angle trapped in a three on one situation against Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro. They drove a ladder into the ribs of Angle. They mocked the Shield and teased doing the triple powerbomb but Ambrose and Rollins hit the ring for the save. The Shield make their way through the crowd and they are in their vintage attire. Roman takes the mic and he says when the Hounds come to the ring, you have two choices. You get out of their yard or they kick your ass. Seth tells Roman to calm down and he says it feels good to be out here. It is amazing how things come full circle. Their first match was five years ago at TLC and they dominated. Every single night after that, when they were together, they dominated.
Then one day, that all went away. Seth says he is proud to stand here, five years later in this ring with his brothers because The Shield is back and better than ever. Dean mentions tables, ladders, and chairs. Thousands of pounds of steel surround the ring. That is not why Miz, The Bar, and Braun Strowman should be afraid. The battle lines are drawn and they will be facing the masters. No one divides and conquers better than the Shield. There is no force on Earth more powerful than the Shield. Dean says maybe he got a little ahead of himself when he said they could face four, five, or six people, but he would say the same thing. They don’t care. Dean tells them to come out so they can throw down in Portland. Braun Strowman’s music plays and he is joined by Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Curtis Axel. Kurt tells everyone that the TLC match will not happen tonight. Kurt tells Sheamus and Cesaro if they want their title match, don’t move. Roman Reigns’ music plays and he makes his way onto the stage. Miz says hello to Roman on the stage with his tail between his legs. Roman tells Miz to shut up and he is not here to play games. He says he will give them one chance to get out of his ring. Miz says he thought Roman was all about talk is cheap and he is all about action. There is nothing you are going to do since there are four of them and only one of you. Miz gets the crowd to stop cheering for the Shield. Miz tells Roman to get Dean and Seth because the rumors of the Shield reuniting is just like Roman . . . a lot of hype.
Roman says who said anything about rumors. Dean Ambrose’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage. Seth Rollins’ music plays and he joins Roman and Dean on the stage. They make their way to the ring and they surround the ring while Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, and Axel assume defensive positions. Miz heads for the floor while Sheamus, Cesaro, and Axel battle with Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose. Reigns with a superman punch to Sheamus and then to Cesaro. Dean with a rebound clothesline to Cesaro. Miz begs for mercy but Ambrose and Rollins keep him from escaping and Miz goes into the ring and is hit with a double underhook DDT. They hit a Cerberus Bomb on Miz and then they stand over Miz with the fist salute.
Strowman sends Matt to the floor and then he picks up Matt and carries him to the stage. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose are out and they have new Shield T-Shirts. Strowman drops Matt and then he looks at Dean, Roman, and Seth. Strowman grabs Roman and runs him into the TitanTron. Seth and Dean help Roman and Roman with a spear. Seth, Roman, and Dean with punches and then they look at the announce table and adjust it. They pick up Strowman and hit the Cerberus Bomb through the announce table and Strowman falls off the stage to the floor.
Backstage: The Shield walk in the back and they are asked about what they did. Seth says they are stronger than ever. Dean says they will walk over their enemies. Roman says they will take on the whole world if they have to. They are the three workhorses who run this place.
Seth Rollins versus Braun Strowman
Rollins with a kick and punches but Strowman tosses Rollins across the ring and avoids a splash. Strowman with a running shoulder tackle. Strowman gets Rollins up for a power slam but Rollins gets to his feet. Rollins goes to the floor and Strowman follows. Rollins goes to the apron and hits an enzuigiri. Rollins goes for a springboard move but Strowman grabs Rollins by the throat as he comes off. Rollins gets free but Strowman sends Rollins into the air and he lands face first on the mat. Strowman stands on Rollins’ chest. Strowman with a forearm to the back. Rollins drops Strowman on the top rope and then Rollins goes up top but Strowman press slams Rollins to the mat. Strowman with a rear chin lock but Rollins with a jawbreaker. Strowman charges at Rollins and goes over the top rope when Rollins drops down. Rollins goes for a suicide dive but Strowman with a punch and Rollins falls to the floor. We are back and Strowman charges into a boot. Rollins goes to the turnbuckles but is caught by Strowman and Strowman with a fallaway slam that sends Rollins to the floor. Strowman goes to the floor and he sends Rollins face first into the ring post. Strowman goes for a power slam on the floor but Rollins gets to his feet and he sends Strowman into the ring post. Strowman stays on his feet. Rolilns with a suicide dive and Strowman stays on his feet. Rollins goes for another suicide dive and he knocks Strowman down.
Rollins sends Strowman back into the ring and Rollins with a springboard clothesline but Strowman stays on his feet. Rollins with a second one and it leads to the same result. Rollins with a blockbuster but Strowman kicks out at one. Rollins with a super kick and Strowman falls to a knee. Strowman with a second super kick. Rollins goes for the V Trigger but Strowman with a clothesline and a power slam for the three count.

Backstage: Dean Ambrose is in the locker room and he is checking himself after that match. Seth Rollins gives Dean some ice and Seth tells Dean to stop the self-destructive behavior. Seth tells Dean what he does has to be for the team. Seth reminds Dean about his match against Sheamus and he tells Dean to let him know if he is going to pick a fight with Braun. Dean tells Seth he needs to stop thinking and be less predictable. Seth says that Dean will not predict what he is going to say because he is going to ask Kurt Angle for a match next week against Braun Strowman. Seth says he is going to make Sheamus and Cesaro look alike after his match.
Seth Rollins versus Sheamus (with Cesaro)
Sheamus with forearms to Rollins and he sends Seth into the turnbuckles and follows with punches. Sheamus with an Irish whip and Sheamus charges into the corner but Seth moves and Sheamus hits the ring post. Seth with a suicide dive and then he goes for a springboard move but Sheamus catches him and hits a uranage back breaker. Sheamus with a suplex for a near fall. Sheamus with punches and he goes to the turnbuckles and connects with a knee drop and gets a near fall. Sheamus with a stretch muffler and he picks Seth off the mat. Rollins with punches and Seth tries for a rana but Sheamus blocks it. Sheamus with a power bomb for a near fall and he follows with a Cloverleaf. Seth makes it to the ropes and Sheamus releases the hold. Rollins sends Sheamus over the top rope to the floor. Sheamus gets back to the apron and Rollins punches Seth. Sheamus drops Rollins on the top rope and Sheamus with a knee to Rollins and then gets a near fall.Sheamus looks around for the Brogue Kick set up and Rollins moves. Rollins runs into boots from Sheamus and Sheamus goes up top. Sheamus comes off the turnbuckles and Seth with a super kick followed by a V Trigger for the three count.
