Intercontinental Title Match: The Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor
Miz sends the Miztourage to the back, and Balor is ushered to the ring by a slew of Balor Club members. Fast start, as they trade armdrags and rollups on one another before Rollins clotheslines Miz to the floor. Balor clotheslines Seth out, and then takes both men out with a dive. Balor is looking RIPPED tonight. Balor tosses Miz back into the ring and counters a sunset flip with a dropkick for 2. Seth in with a springboard clothesline on Balor, but Miz rams him into the corner and hits a running kick on Balor for 2. We see John Cena watching the show from the crowd as Rollins hits a double blockbuster and covers Miz for 2. Miz hits a corner clothesline on Balor, then goes to the top and hits a double axhandle on Rollins for 2. Miz hits a neckbreaker on Balor for 2, then gets him in a Million Dollar Dream. Rollins breaks that up and tosses Miz to the floor, hits a slingblade on Balor, then takes Miz out with a dive.

Balor hits Rollins with a slingblade of his own, Seth superkicks Balor, Miz hits a DDT on Rollins for 2. Miz goes for a figure four on Rollins, Rollins kicks him off and goes for a springboard something, but Miz superkicks him off the top rope and to the floor. Miz blocks a leaping enziguiri and hits a legwhip over the top rope on Balor, then gets him in a figure four right in the middle of the ring. Rollins off the top with a frogsplash on Miz for 2, breaking up the figure four. Balor tries the apron punt on Rollins, Rollins blocks and goes for a buckle bomb into the barricade, but Balor gets out and rams Rollins into the Miz against the barricade. Balor and Rollins are back inside trading strikes, Balor hits the overhead kick, and hits the Curtain Call for 2. Balor goes to the top for the double stomp, but Miz knocks him down and goes for a superplex.

Balor blocks and Rollins grabs Miz and buckle bombs him, then runs back up the corner and hits the superplex on Balor, but Balor counters the second one to a small package for 2. Miz quickly hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Rollins, but Rollins kicks out at 2. Balor counters a Skull Crushing Finale attempt to a rollup for 2, then hits a leaping enziguiri and goes up again for the double stomp. Miz shakes the rope and knocks Balor down on the top turnbuckle, Balor blocks a superplex, Rollins hits them both with a leaping enziguiri, and tries a springboard something into the ring, but Miz counters to a super Skull Crushing Finale. Balor breaks the pinfall at 2 with a top rope double stomp, then hits Miz with a slingblade, shotgun dropkick, and comes off the top with the double stomp, but Rollins comes right in and curb stomps Balor. Rollins curb stomps Miz and covers, and we have a new Intercontinental Champion!

In Ring: Seth Rollins’ music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring. Seth says he normally is not a fan of MizTV but this is some great stuff. The MizTourage hashing out their problems. Seth says he doesn’t mean to interrupt but he will stand here and watch. Miz says Seth did interrupt. The only problem they have is Seth. Seth says if he is out here, then he can help. Seth says he will mediate. The MizTourage feels a little underappreciated. When was the last time you looked them in the eyes and said thank you? Miz asks Seth if he is kidding. Seth says he is not kidding. He says Miz should be thanking them every chance he can. Without them, you wouldn’t be the Intercontinental Champion. Seth suggests a MizTourage chant and Miz reminds everyone what to do when his hand goes up. Miz says they appreciate each other. Miz says he would still be Intercontinental Champion without them. Bo says Miz is a phony A Lister who can’t fight. Seth wants Bo to say it a little louder and Miz wants to know what Bo just said.

Before Bo can respond, Finn Balor makes his way to the ring. Finn apologizes for interrupting but he is a guest. He says that Miz needs his help now. People want to know what Bo just said. Finn says sometimes it is hard to hear what people say when you are in the ring, but he heard it crystal clear. Bo said that the Miz was the biggest jerk he ever met. Bo says he did not call Miz a jerk. Finn tells Miz it is nothing to worry about. Bo tells Finn what he said. Miz tells Bo to say that again. Miz pie faces Bo when he speaks. Curtis has to hold Bo back. Miz wants to fire Bo up. They are less than two weeks away and you are letting them play us and try to divide them? The only thing that matters is the Intercontinental Champion. Miz says he is 34 days away from being the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion. Better than Randy Savage. Better than Shawn Michaels. Better than Mr. Perfect. Miz apologizes when Curtis realizes that Miz said something bad about his father. Continue Reading

In Ring: Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV. He says the MizTourage is not standing with him tonight. They have a special tag match. They have earned the opportunity to punch their tickets to Wrestlemania. His little boys are all growns up. If you are with the Miz, he will elevate their careers. Miz says that his guests have been given opportunity after opportunity. Miz says Wrestlemania will the be last hurdle to becoming the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of All Time.

Out first is Seth Rollins. Miz tells Seth to take a seat because this is going to be fun. Out next is Finn Balor.
Miz says Seth and Finn seem very comfortable and calm. Miz says that Seth is comfortable even if the man who took away their singles match from Wrestlemania is in the ring with them. They are the workhorses in the WWE and they could have burnt it down at Wrestlemania. You were denied a one-on-one opportunity and Finn is always in your way. Seth asks if Miz thinks they are idiots. He tells Miz to deal with the fact that it is a triple threat match. Miz says that Finn is the man, in bingo halls. Your WWE resume is lacking, but you have one thing. You defeated Seth Rollins to become the first Universal Champion. That is a huge accomplishment. Miz says that maybe Finn deserves the one-on-one spotlight at Wrestlemania against the greatest of all time. You have already proven that you are better than Seth Rollins.

Finn asks why does Miz think this is going to work on him since Miz just tried it with Seth. Miz wants to know if he is the bad guy here. Miz says Seth resents Finn for beating him for the Universal Title. Miz asks Finn if he can trust him. When you drop your guard, Seth will stab you in the back. Just ask the Shield. Seth tells Miz to shut up. Seth says they don’t need to be fired up because it is the Intercontinental Title and Wrestlemania. Seth says he will win the title in four weeks and he apologizes to Finn for not having a chance. Finn asks Seth what happened the last time they had a championship match. He won with one arm. Seth says you can talk about the past, but he is about the future. In four weeks, he will stomp on Finn’s head and win the title. Finn says they don’t have to wait four weeks. They can do it tonight in Detroit. Finn gets up and so does Seth. Miz rubs his hands because his plan worked and then Seth and Finn look at Miz and Miz realizes that things did not go like he planned. Miz tries to get out of the ring and Balor and Rollins punch him. Balor clotheslines Miz over the top rope. Rollins with a running forearm to Balor and he leaves the ring. Continue Reading

Miz says it is time for a Lifetime Achievement Mizzie. It goes to the workhorse of the WWE. The man who will be in the main event wherever he is on the card. Seth Rollins interrupts the announcement and he makes his way to the stage. Seth says he was enjoying the Mizzies, but the people of Milwaukee were begging to play him off since he was dragging. Finn Balor’s music plays and he comes out next to Seth and asks if he is done. Seth says this is two weeks in a row and he asks if he is following him. Finn says he is out to do one better than Seth.

Miz says that neither of you deserves a title match against him. Whether it is lasting 65 minutes or having a great performance in the Elimination Chamber because you lose. The only person who does it better than you is Finn Balor because he held the Universal Title for one day. You can talk about how over you are, but this is not Japan. To be over, you need more than a hand sign that isn’t even yours. You two think you are so special because you beat him in a two on one handicap match. Why not do something big tonight. Miz says that he challenges them to face him, Curtis, and Bo. Seth says if that is what it takes to shut him up, then he is on.

Miz, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas, versus Seth Rollins and Finn Balor
Balor and Axel start things off and Balor with a snap mare into an arm bar. Axel with punches and a sunset flip but Balor rolls through and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Balor with an arm bar. Seth applauds Balor and asks to be tagged in and he hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Axel with a kick and he sends Rollins into the turnbuckles. Bo tags in and Rollins kicks Axel and sends him to the floor. Rollins with a drop kick to Dallas. Bo hits Rollins from behind and tags in Miz. MIz kicks Rollins and follows with a boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Miz sends Rollins into the turnbuckles and tags in Axel who hits a leap frog neck snap for a near fall.
